Seattle skateparks between the showers

Seattle has built out a citywide skatepark system: big district parks, small "skatedots" and a beginner-focused plaza. Sizes and build years below come from Parents for Skateparks' table of the city's skatepark plan; addresses come from Seattle Parks and Seattle Center.

Seattle Parks lists general park hours of 4 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Skateparks are unsupervised. Hours, closures and rules change, so check the linked official page on the day you go.

For bikes: I-5 Colonnade

The I-5 Colonnade mountain bike skills park (1701 Lakeview Blvd E, 98102) sits under the freeway between Capitol Hill and Eastlake. In 2025 Seattle Parks and the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance finished a paved pump track there, with a smaller beginner and adaptive track. It's a good stop for BMX riders.
