Find your crew: people, not followers
The hardest part of getting into skating, surfing, snow or the local scene is often just finding people to go with. Find your crew is a plain board for that: a short card, a city or spot, and a way to holler at each other without handing out your email or number.
How it works
- Post a card. Say what you ride (or that you're there for the shows), your city or local spot, roughly your level, and what you want: a session buddy, a filmer, a band, a show buddy or a crew.
- Confirm your email. We send one link, and your card goes up once you click it. That keeps out bots and throwaway accounts.
- Holler. Anyone with a confirmed email can message you from your card. You get it by email with a reply link back to LOOSE. Neither of you sees the other's email address.
- Spot boards. Each spot has a plain comment board for meetups, conditions and "anyone out Saturday?" posts. Replies go one level deep, with no likes and no ranking.
Safety
- LOOSE is 13+. If you're under 18, meet at the spot, in daylight, with a friend, and tell someone where you're going.
- Every card and message has block and report. A block stops that person messaging you. Enough reports hide a card until we review it.
- A filter catches slurs, threats and creep lines like asking for pics or telling someone to keep it secret from their parents. Swearing is fine. Being a creep is not.
- Messages are rate-limited, so no one can spam the board.
Early access. Example cards on the board are labeled "example" and aren't real people. We're a founding crew right now, so be one of the first.
