Ride then mosh: session first, show after
Most show listings stop at the band and the venue. In the scene, the day usually starts earlier: you skate the park down the street, catch the dawn patrol, or hit the jumps, then you go see your friends play. The LOOSE show board puts both on one flyer.
Early access. The flyers on the LOOSE show board right now are examples showing how it works. Ticket checkout runs in Stripe test mode, so no real money moves yet. Real shows go up as bands, promoters and riding crews post them.
How a ride-then-mosh show works
- A band or promoter posts the show: bands, venue, date, doors, price and age policy.
- A riding crew co-hosts the session: a skate session at the local park, a surf dawn patrol, a snow park meetup or a BMX jam, a few hours before doors. The crew picks the spot and the meet time.
- One ticket covers both. The session is free to show up to. The ticket gets you into the show, and the crew that ran the session gets a cut of the door.
The money, out in the open
LOOSE takes between 6% and 15% of the ticket, set per show and printed on the flyer before you pay. Card processing comes out of that cut, never on top of it. On a very cheap ticket, our cut can't go lower than the card fee, and the checkout says so when that happens. Everything else goes to the band and the crew that co-hosted.
All-ages, on purpose
The board is built for all-ages and DIY shows: VFW halls, community centers, record shops, backyards with permission, and small rooms that let kids in. Every flyer says the age policy up front. If you're under 18, go with a friend, tell someone where you're headed, and check the venue's own rules. Our first punk show guide covers earplugs, the pit and getting home.
Post your show
Bands, promoters and riding crews can post on the show board. It's free to list. Tell us whether there's a session attached, or tick "looking for a crew to co-host" and we'll try to pair you with riders near the venue.
